Okay kids, if you are worried about breaking up with your ex face-to-face, then read this article for inspiration. If she can do it AT A JAILHOUSE, surrounded by Paparazzi, then you can certainly pick up the phone and call your ex and tell him it’s over. No more emails. No more text messages!

It appears that after months of reflection, Philip Markoff’s fiancé has elected to kick him to the curb.

Markoff, the alleged “Craigslist Killer” was accused and arrested in April, 2009 on suspicion of killing a masseuse he met on Craigslist.

Megan McAllister, Markoff’s fiancé, visited him at the Nashua Street Jail in Boston with her attorney and mother in tow on June 11th.  She was not wearing her engagement ring.

Her lawyer, Robert Honecker said in a statement, “McAllister told Markoff she was going to medical school and said it would be “a long period of time, if ever, that she would see him again.”

When the charges were first brought to light at the end of April, 2009, McAllister said in an email to ABC News: “Unfortunately, you were given wrong information as was the public. All I have to say to you is Philip is a beautiful person inside and out and could not hurt a fly! A police officer in Boston (or many) is trying to make big bucks by selling this false story to the TV stations. What else is new?? Philip is an intelligent man who is just trying to live his life so if you could leave us alone we would greatly appreciate it. We expect to marry in August and share a wonderful, meaningful life together.”

When it became evident that Markoff would be held in jail for an extended amount of time, she called off the August wedding, but still stood by her man - even when evidence was found in their Quincy, MA apartment. Apparently, Markoff stashed the gun that was used in the April killing of Julissa Brisman, a robbery in Boston and a holdup in Rhode Island underneath the bed he shared with his fiancé. Additionally, Brisman’s panties were found underneath the bed.

But McCallister has kept quiet since May, 2009, moving to her parents’ Rhode Island home. And she has evidently changed her mind. Now it seems as if she has decided to make a stand and move forward without Markoff.

McCallister’s Lawyer, Honecker said “She’s done it now, and I think she feels good about coming up and seeing him.” “But now it’s time to move on with other things in her life.”

Markoff was ordered held without bail after pleading not guilty Monday, June 22nd.

Good to see that people still know what they are talking about. So much BS around these days!
